Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. GREEN LIONS's Calisto Flayre got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Calisto Flayre in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Merexildo Raimundo got free with Julio Vera in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ödön Grill kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. After 23rd play minutes Calisto Flayre shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. Calisto Flayre who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tolis Prinianakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Calisto Flayre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Calisto Flayre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Calisto Flayre dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of play forced GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Tolis Prinianakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolis Prinianakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Calisto Flayre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calisto Flayre, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. GREEN LIONS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Merexildo Raimundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faruk Nafiz Yadigar's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faruk Nafiz Yadigar hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GREEN LIONS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 62nd minute. A collision led to GREEN LIONS getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ödön Grill hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tolis Prinianakis having to make a save. Tolis Prinianakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Tolis Prinianakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Tolis Prinianakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolis Prinianakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tolis Prinianakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 78th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolis Prinianakis saved GREEN LIONS from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Calisto Flayre in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Tolis Prinianakis made a huge save. Tolis Prinianakis made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merexildo Raimundo in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of GREEN LIONS booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calisto Flayre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GREEN LIONS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ecuador for a fine match.
