Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's Willian de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Jorge Fantini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. The throw-in from Caetano Moreira in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. When Angelo Mattos came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Mattos couldn't finish the play. THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Honduras's much stronger midfield.
