The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bart van Goetsenhoven stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Rolando Noboa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Gerardo McMillan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gábor Király read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Ziemowit Tylinski kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gábor Király having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Rafael Gallo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Gallo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gábor Király breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Rafael Gallo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC Henter Somosd's Gábor Király. Gábor Király was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Peru players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
