Troy Kennedy scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yosua Paredes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Godfredo España fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Fonticoba, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Kraken's Federico Fonticoba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martino Jauregui got free with Bruno Barrett in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute, Federico Fonticoba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harvey Doyle kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martino Jauregui's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the game, Curacao's Stanley Wallace nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yosua Paredes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 64th minute, Stanley Wallace ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yosua Paredes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martino Jauregui, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Martino Jauregui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kraken's supporters rose to their feet, but Martino Jauregui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo España in the 73rd minute of play. Yosua Paredes made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Troy Kennedy sent off a good shot on target. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martino Jauregui's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 83rd match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocco Owen to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Bertie Johnson hit a great ball. The Kraken fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Kraken's Martino Jauregui looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stanley Wallace sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Kyle Davies took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Yosua Paredes to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle went the supporters of Curacao were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Kraken side.
