The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Jumeuc Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Túlio Dias. In the 5th minute of the game Dagoberto Guerra made a throw-in which Dedé Fernandes played forward. Aníbal Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Luque came free, but Aníbal Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Jumeuc Futebol Clube's zone, Abram Luque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aníbal Arruda came out of the goal and Abram Luque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 played minutes Jumeuc Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Doni Pena. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedé Fernandes in the 18th minute of play. Dedé Fernandes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardo Zorita came out and tried to block the shot, but Dedé Fernandes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. Abram Luque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Aníbal Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sydney Meirelles made in the 31st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dedé Fernandes however managed to control. Patrick Sarmento made in the 35th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dedé Fernandes. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a free kick in the 39th minute. Túlio Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dedé Fernandes to make the kick off. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesus Carvallo during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Carvallo. Patrick Sarmento took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 75th minute, Patrick Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aníbal Arruda made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Moises Fernandino sent off a good shot on target. Jesus Carvallo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Túlio Dias succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Aníbal Arruda made a huge save. After 91 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Abram Luque. Dedé Fernandes's late challenge caught a El Salvador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dedé Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Jumeuc Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedé Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Arruda having to interfere. Dedé Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jumeuc Futebol Clube had won after a very even match.
