Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Tamás Antal started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bart van Goetsenhoven's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the game Teodosio Lawrence made a throw-in which Ziemowit Tylinski played forward. 19 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Mees. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tamás Antal in the 21st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Bart van Goetsenhoven took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Rolando Noboa to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gábor Király prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart van Goetsenhoven, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bart van Goetsenhoven in the 29th minute of play. When Gerardo McMillan came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FC Henter Somosd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo McMillan couldn't finish the play. Gábor Király showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Gerardo McMillan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Bart van Goetsenhoven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Henter Somosd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bart van Goetsenhoven was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Teodosio Lawrence made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. In the 64th minute of the game Wilian Baptista made a throw-in which Duda Imperatore played forward. 71 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo McMillan came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Henter Somosd's Arnd Schade was substituted for Bart van Goetsenhoven. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Duda Imperatore in the 74 minute of the game. 79 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gábor Király. Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 84 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Tamás Antal came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gábor Király made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 85th minute of play. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Duda Imperatore, made in the 88th minute of the game. Gábor Király made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 93rd minute. Peru's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
