The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Resel, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Gruszowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Bernard Zajac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pawel Panasewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernard Zajac despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Konstantin Gerberts tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Bernard Zajac. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 63rd minute. In the 65th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bernard Zajac could save by the left post. If Dominik Walczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernard Zajac came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th match minute, Gruszowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Kazimierz to maneuver through the defense. Bernard Zajac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachary Zawadzki in the 78th minute of the match. After 80 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernard Zajac was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pawel Panasewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Ludomir Grondzki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. The supporters of Gruszowiec booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th match minute, Gruszowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pawel Panasewicz to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle went the supporters of Venezuela were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Gruszowiec side.
