Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Celso Porfirio took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Celso Porfirio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AKD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 8 minutes, Mateo Leguizamo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the AKD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Leguizamo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 11 minutes, Mateo Leguizamo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Leguizamo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Porfirio in the 14th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Porfirio in the 19th minute of play. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Angelino Eufrasio made a huge save. In the 26th minute, Melchor Admon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomero Basajaun kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Mateo Leguizamo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AKD's Angelino Eufrasio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save AKD from getting a goal against them. Abram Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Anastasio Bieito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Celso Porfirio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The El Salvador players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AKD were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play AKD's Baldomero Basajaun was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 55th minute, Baldomero Basajaun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Porfirio in the 57th minute of play. Abel Garaona took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With an all-out effort, AKD's Ricardo Zorita threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Celso Porfirio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Abel Garaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Curbelo. After 91 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Rubio. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celso Porfirio in the 94th minute. AKD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
