The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Wiliam Perez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Wiliam Perez sped through El Salvador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wiliam Perez went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 24 minutes of play, Atlético Capixaba's Alessandro Araújo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wiliam Perez went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the match, Cauan Botelho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauan Botelho in the 39th minute of play. After 39 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Carvallo. After 40 played minutes, Atlético Capixaba's Shi Tian Kuan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Capixaba reached it. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan Botelho in the 44th minute of play. Cauan Botelho struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Capixaba. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam Perez in the 53rd minute of the match. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atlético Capixaba made a substitution. Otto Fesik replaced Wiliam Perez. After 70 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Marco Tamayo. In the 72nd minute, Otto Fesik made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. 75 minutes into the game, Atlético Capixaba's Alessandro Araújo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Baltazar Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Cauan Botelho sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Marco Tamayo hit a great ball. When Atlético Capixaba's Cauan Botelho in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ricardo Zorita was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cauan Botelho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 86 minute of play. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Fu Jun Feng tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Jesus Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
