Saturnino Lehior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Feliciano Fernendo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Villa Mitre City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Fernendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 minutes of play, Villa Mitre City's Feliciano Fernendo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When Kenny Sparkes fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Mitre City's protests and gave Kenny Sparkes a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Villa Mitre City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Venezuela:s goal. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
