The supporters of Colombia booed when Belgrano de Pibasog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Frederico didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 played minutes, Colombia's Axel Montenegro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bernardo Raggio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colombia reached it. After having played for 14 minutes, Judas Verón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgrano de Pibasog's supporters crossed their fingers, but Judas Verón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Bernardo Raggio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Navarro. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Judas Verón got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. When Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Belgrano de Pibasog's Clemente Gaizkine quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 36th minute, Judas Verón got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justino Frederico kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Raggio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

56 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Carballar came free, but Bernardo Raggio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Raggio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 57th minute of the match. Judas Verón struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano de Pibasog. The audience was convinced that Judas Verón's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Bernardo Raggio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 63rd minute. Bernardo Raggio made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Belgrano de Pibasog's Bernardo Raggio got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kevin Mastache kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Belgrano de Pibasog's Garcia Morros was substituted for Silvio Abadia. Kevin Mastache hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Orlando Tafalla with Santino Seco as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Belgrano de Pibasog's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
