Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the game, German Teofilio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rivermania FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to Rivermania FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. German Teofilio hit a great ball. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Teofilio hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Arturo Sengrat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rivermania FC's Arturo Sengrat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Arturo Sengrat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Sengrat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Arturo Sengrat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Salbatore got free with Julio Vera in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Montenegro in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Sengrat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelo Salbatore struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rivermania FC. In the 38th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Angelo Salbatore hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Dionisio Abascal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arturo Sengrat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 51st minute of play forced Rivermania FC's goalkeeper Arturo Sengrat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Sengrat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montes in the 53rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Felix Montenegro sped through Rivermania FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arturo Sengrat. 57 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arturo Sengrat, 0-2. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arturo Sengrat could save by the left post. Rivermania FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Arturo Sengrat, making the score, 0-3. Arturo Sengrat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 65th minute. Arturo Sengrat made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Luis Andino sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th match minute, Rivermania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Teofilio to maneuver through the defense. After 72 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arturo Sengrat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Luis Andino took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Arturo Sengrat to make any attempt to save it. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Sengrat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 84th minute of the match. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Arturo Sengrat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rivermania FC.
