When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Agustin Luix sped through Curacao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustin Luix's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Lugano 1 y 2's Agustin Luix got a free kick in the 6th minute. The supporters of Lugano 1 y 2 booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanley Wallace didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9thth minute of the game Agustin Luix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Luix in the 10th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Agustin Luix made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustin Luix's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Mauricio Vincente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lugano 1 y 2's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Vincente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the game, Severiano Ugutz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauricio Vincente went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Severiano Ugutz put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. 34 minutes into the game, Lugano 1 y 2's Severiano Ugutz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. After 37 minutes of play, Lugano 1 y 2's Severiano Ugutz made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the game, Lugano 1 y 2's Mauricio Vincente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. The supporters of Lugano 1 y 2 booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Cox didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Luix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes into the match, Agustin Luix notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Curacao's Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Agustin Luix took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Bruno Barrett to make any attempt to save it. Mauricio Vincente scored 0-13 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Agustin Luix put it in 0-15 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. Agustin Luix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Barrett having to make a save. If Agustin Luix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Pavia in the 74th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Mauricio Vincente sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Ugutz in the 84th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustin Luix got free with Bruno Barrett in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Doyle to maneuver through the defense. If Agustin Luix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Rocco Owen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Luix in the 90th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustin Luix in the 95th minute. Ciro Pavia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Curacao fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lugano 1 y 2 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
