Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Mattos in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. William Carvalho was slow to take the kick. During this time Piasecznica SA's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that William Carvalho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Toninho de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 36th minute of play. Toninho de Moraes came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After having played for 39 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Mattos's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Toninho de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Piasecznica SA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Toninho de Moraes quite easily take care of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tolek Jaszyna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Toninho de Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Piasecznica SA's Gustaw Buczak got a free kick in the 56th minute. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toninho de Moraes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Erasmo Mattos came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Piasecznica SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Mattos couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Piasecznica SA getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Erasmo Mattos hit a great ball. Toninho de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Chrzan came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Ola Kania shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Cadaval. William Carvalho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dante Lacasa. Mexico's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tolek Jaszyna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Tolek Jaszyna slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Facundo Cadaval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Piasecznica SA's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho de Moraes came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toninho de Moraes was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. Mexico's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
