Garrapatita Futbol's attentive Albano Lorenz managed to snatch the ball when Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. 46 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermengildo Jaume made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
