The corner went over the outstretched arms of Berreta's goalie and right to Alexander Bottone. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Berreta's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 史斐轩 came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by A.S. Udinese's Augusto Clemente. But to his dismay, Augusto Clemente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Alvaro Rotili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Eladio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Alexander Bottone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 史斐轩 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.S. Udinese's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Augusto Clemente in the 20th minute. The corner ended in Augusto Clemente almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Berreta's 史斐轩 did a great save. Edgar Onitiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Alvaro Rotili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Augusto Clemente notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Berreta's 史斐轩. 史斐轩 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Alberigo Di Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.S. Udinese's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberigo Di Franco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 史斐轩 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberigo Di Franco in the 32nd minute of play forced Berreta's goalkeeper 史斐轩 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 史斐轩 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexander Bottone went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After 44 minutes Berreta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Augusto Clemente who took care of the corner kick. Alvaro Rotili was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Octavio Eladio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Octavio Eladio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. A.S. Udinese's Tom Pervik was substituted for Bruno Maranzano. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-6.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Octavio Eladio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, A.S. Udinese's 史斐轩 threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Augusto Clemente, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 史斐轩 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Bottone, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Berreta's 史斐轩 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Berreta from getting a goal against them. The corner ended in Edmondo Giorda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Berreta's 史斐轩 did a great save. In the 66th minute of the match A.S. Udinese got a corner. Berreta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alberigo Di Franco ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led A.S. Udinese's Alberigo Di Franco to fire away a dangerous shot which 史斐轩 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Berreta's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Bottone came free, but 史斐轩 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Udinese's corner Alberigo Di Franco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 史斐轩 quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ercole Fiorentino got free with 史斐轩 in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A.S. Udinese's Alvaro Rotili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Eladio in the 88th minute of play. In the 94thth minute of the game Ercole Fiorentino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berreta's 史斐轩 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ercole Fiorentino in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 史斐轩 saved Berreta from getting behind. In the 95th minute A.S. Udinese were awarded a corner. Alberigo Di Franco went to the cornerflag to take it. Cristiano Paolucci was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. A.S. Udinese's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
