In the 19th minute Fortunato Borromeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damiano Battisti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Capixaba in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Rafa Alves made a precise shot to the right of Damiano Battisti. Eurospeed Asti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elia Pietrantoni to strike the kick off in the second half. If Fausto Pinti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, MUSHIBA FC's Damiano Battisti threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafa Alves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 66 minutes into the game, Rafa Alves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. After 88th play minutes Elia Pietrantoni shot 3-4, a short shot which went by Osvaldo Vergílio and just under the crossbar into goal. Osvaldo Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fortunato Borromeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.

The MUSHIBA FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MUSHIBA FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
