Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, Bierunese's Ron Westerink made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 7 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bierunese's Daniël Kromme tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniël Kromme saved Bierunese from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Bierunese's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniël Kromme came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 minutes of play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniël Kromme was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrick Timmermans's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Timmermans helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Bierunese got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Timmermans. Moises Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniël Kromme didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Edmundo Espiga hit a great ball. Stefan de Visser's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan de Visser helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Bierunese got a freekick which was hit by Stefan de Visser. 45 minutes into the match, Moises Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniël Kromme. Bierunese's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ron Westerink stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Honduras's Sebastian Villa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniël Kromme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Edmundo Espiga took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Daniël Kromme to make any attempt to save it. Job Zijden made in the 70th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gerard Krijnenburg immediately put the ball in play. 75 minutes into the game, Milagros Cabal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bierunese the free kick. Lautaro Navarro had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Huib Alberts's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Luca Espinar got a free kick in the 80th minute. Daniël Kromme was a little too slow when Edmundo Espiga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-8. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniël Kromme having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-10.
