Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) FC Lëtzebuerg's Serdar Gulson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Loïc Payen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Loïc Payen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loïc Payen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Serdar Gulson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute Serdar Gulson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Loïc Payen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 27th minute of the match, Erubiel Erasto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 30th minute, Serdar Gulson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Lëtzebuerg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 34th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loïc Payen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, FC Lëtzebuerg's Serdar Gulson got a free kick in the 40th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Loïc Payen made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Tim Tudor hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in 59 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Loïc Payen guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Erasto in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, FC Lëtzebuerg's Serdar Gulson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Loïc Payen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serdar Gulson in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, FC Lëtzebuerg's Seyidäli Cāburgs got a free kick in the 71st minute. 71 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loïc Payen. FC Lëtzebuerg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Serdar Gulson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lëtzebuerg's supporters rose to their feet, but Serdar Gulson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Lëtzebuerg's Loïc Payen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 83rd minute of play. FC Lëtzebuerg's Loïc Payen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lëtzebuerg from getting a goal against them. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after FC Lëtzebuerg's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Erasto in the 90th minute of play. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Loïc Payen came out and tried to block the shot, but Agustín Saelices slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 92nd minute. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Loïc Payen made a huge save. In the 97th match minute, FC Lëtzebuerg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudin Suartama to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador played a much better game than FC Lëtzebuerg and deserved their victory. The FC Lëtzebuerg players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
