Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Marco in the 5th minute of play. Valentin Ospetsu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute. Kong Zheng Xing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Valentin Ospetsu could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Valentin Ospetsu in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Valentin Ospetsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ofelio Galván came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Ospetsu was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kong Zheng Xing, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ofelio Galván's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of play forced ♠ ♥ Barrio PiriPoker ♦ ♣'s goalkeeper Valentin Ospetsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ofelio Galván to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kong Zheng Xing got free with Julio Vera in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to ♠ ♥ Barrio PiriPoker ♦ ♣ getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Lorenzo Buche hit a great ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Ofelio Galván scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-2. ♠ ♥ Barrio PiriPoker ♦ ♣'s Yerko Son was substituted for Karlos Bravo. Osvaldo Frutos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. The corner led to ♠ ♥ Barrio PiriPoker ♦ ♣'s Bruno Marco getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 72 minutes into the match, ♠ ♥ Barrio PiriPoker ♦ ♣'s Osvaldo Frutos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 75th minute Osvaldo Frutos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Ospetsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 84 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victor Hugo Pinilla who took care of the corner kick. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by ♠ ♥ Barrio PiriPoker ♦ ♣'s Osvaldo Frutos. But to his dismay, Osvaldo Frutos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The supporters of ♠ ♥ Barrio PiriPoker ♦ ♣ booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Although Ecuador had been in control for most of the match, ♠ ♥ Barrio PiriPoker ♦ ♣ still came away with the win.
