Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 10th minute of play forced Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goalkeeper Gernando Paes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Venezuela fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgílio Ferrazs short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Virgílio Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abel Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Morales Moreira. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Conrado Camargo sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Camargo got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Morales Moreira. But to his dismay, Morales Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Morales Moreira made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Morales Moreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nas Horas Vagas F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 55 minutes into the match, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Gernando Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Tomas Illescas sped through Nas Horas Vagas F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gernando Paes. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Paes having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Antônio Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the game, Morales Moreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Nas Horas Vagas F.C booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Morales Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Morales Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 80 played minutes Nas Horas Vagas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Abel Duarte. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morales Moreira in the 92nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gernando Paes made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nas Horas Vagas F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
