Nilson Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boguslaw Tarasek's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 20th minute Boguslaw Tarasek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nilson Peres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute of the match Peru got a corner. ITAFUT 4EVER's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Eliseo Mina heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jordan Henderson, made in the 28th minute of the game. In the 31stth minute of the game Boguslaw Tarasek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nilson Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Nilson Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 40th minute of play. Anthony Alvarado hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. José Sand missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 46 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Rolando Noboa right hand side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 53rd minute of the match, Boguslaw Tarasek tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Noboa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nilson Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Nilson Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 64th minute of the match. ITAFUT 4EVER's Sidney Bertassi was substituted for Boguslaw Tarasek. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Milagros Fraga immediately put the ball in play. Eliseo Mina struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Nilson Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. 77 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jardel Baggio. In the 78th minute ITAFUT 4EVER were awarded a corner. Sidney Bertassi went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 79th minute of play forced ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Nilson Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 minutes of play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Sidney Bertassi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Baggio in the 87th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilson Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, one of ITAFUT 4EVER:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Peru a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eliseo Mina, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres. 2-1. Nilson Peres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Gallo went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Peru fully deserved thier win.
