Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gez Little kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes Ampthill FC got a freekick which was hit by Thor Eriksson. After 5 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zack Alderson during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 12 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Abeijon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bernardo Abeijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Abeijon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 29 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Abeijon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ampthill FC's Dean Hoskins was substituted for Zack Alderson. Ampthill FC made a substitution. Marcelino Playo replaced Jack Potts. In the 34th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelino Playo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Marcelino Playo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Abeijon having to make a save. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. When Ampthill FC's Marcelino Playo in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Ampthill FC's Kain Havertz got a free kick in the 57th minute. Bernardo Abeijon made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bernardo Abeijon firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Ampthill FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gez Little hit a great ball. With a little luck, Ampthill FC's Bernardo Abeijon got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes in the game Luis Andino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cristian Sancho. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Abeijon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Ampthill FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Kain Havertz hit a great ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Playo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelino Playo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Bernardo Abeijon managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 86 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. In the 88th minute Marcelino Playo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Playo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ampthill FC's Kain Havertz got a free kick in the 90th minute. The Ampthill FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
