Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Zacisze Częstochowa's Gaston Zárate got a free kick in the 21st minute. Miroslaw Gollob stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Miroslaw Gollob took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurand Cempa in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaston Zárate in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Miroslaw Gollob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 36th minute of the match. Zacisze Częstochowa's Miroslaw Gollob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 40th minute of play. Gaston Zárate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Zacisze Częstochowa's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miroslaw Gollob came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miroslaw Gollob made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 57th minute. Gaston Zárate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Zacisze Częstochowa's Przemyslaw Maldini was substituted for Gonzalo Firme. Zacisze Częstochowa made a substitution. Akif Yetik replaced Maksymilian Drapinski. In the 67th play minute Mariano Lacasa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Miroslaw Gollob. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Cempa in the 72nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miroslaw Gollob took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Zacisze Częstochowa's Jurand Cempa in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Cempa in the 83rd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Zacisze Częstochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Miroslaw Gollob reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Jurand Cempa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jurand Cempa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chile walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
