Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gaston Zárate kicked off to start the match. Margiris Nekrošius kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Miroslaw Gollob took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th match minute, Zacisze Częstochowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyprian Kloczko to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Zacisze Częstochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Miroslaw Gollob reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Zárate in the 16th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miroslaw Gollob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 18th minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the match, Cristo Verdu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cristo Verdu might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristo Verdu ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 36th minute of play forced Zacisze Częstochowa's goalkeeper Miroslaw Gollob to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Zacisze Częstochowa booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Zárate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mexico's attentive Felix Luque managed to snatch the ball when Maksymilian Drapinski made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. 53 minutes into the match, Zacisze Częstochowa's goalkeeper Miroslaw Gollob had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Miroslaw Gollob in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Zacisze Częstochowa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miroslaw Gollob quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jurand Cempa went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 72 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. In the 74th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslaw Gollob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Zacisze Częstochowa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Miroslaw Gollob despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Luca Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miroslaw Gollob was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. With a little luck, Zacisze Częstochowa's Miroslaw Gollob got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Miroslaw Gollob tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Zacisze Częstochowa's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miroslaw Gollob came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miroslaw Gollob took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Many of Mexico's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mexico may have spent more time on the ball, but Zacisze Częstochowa were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
