Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Log Horizon's Teofil Marud started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Teofil Marud put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. A hard shot 8 in the game by Mervin Corley from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Aznar in the 10th minute of play. Hugon Marut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 17 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Sixto Abascal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Log Horizon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Teofil Marud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugon Marut came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hugon Marut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Log Horizon's Godfredo Terciero got a free kick in the 41st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugon Marut saved Log Horizon from getting behind. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teofil Marud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Quirce, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Aznar in the 57th minute of play. The referee gave Sixto Abascal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Log Horizon getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Sixto Abascal hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugon Marut having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Evangelista came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Log Horizon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mervin Corley to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Aznar in the 89th minute of the match. Log Horizon's Elvio Aznar got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hugon Marut. That made the score 2-3 after 95 minutes of play. Ecuador played a much better game than Log Horizon and deserved their victory. The Log Horizon players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
