Colombia's Axel Montenegro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The throw-in from Soulis Felegakis in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Pascual Carballar. 48 minutes into the match, Soulis Felegakis notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Drafi made a substitution. Nektarios Bezas replaced Claudio Busillo. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Boleslaw Kojder did an outstanding performance 90 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-5 to the right of an irritated Pedro Manzanares in the goal. A nice corner shot did that Chatziioannou Stavrakos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The goalkeeper, Pedro Manzanares, was totally fooled by Drafi's Boleslaw Kojder, who 97 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience was convinced that Abram Secada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manolis Ntouvaris was relentless in the 102nd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 102 minutes, Abram Secada put it in 3-6 from a short distance just to the right of Manolis Ntouvaris. When the match was over Drafi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Colombia throughout the match.
