Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Trigo in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Balonek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabi Gol in the 9th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabi Gol who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Uruguay's Francisco Seco in 12 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Norbert Balonek guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 15thth minute of the game Francisco Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Balonek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabi Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, César Delgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goianésia E.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. After 31 played minutes Goianésia E.C got a freekick which was hit by César Delgado. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norbert Balonek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Maximiliano Escribano's late challenge caught a Goianésia E.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Escribano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Alberto Gisbert hit a great ball. A hard shot 43 in the game by Gabi Gol from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Gayoso managed to make a qualified save. Uruguay's players were relieved. Norbert Balonek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Balonek having to interfere. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute.
