Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Alphonse to make the kick off. With 54 minutes on the clock, Saint Jean Pierre commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Waterhoek. Levi Weijnants stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Noel Seide. 0-3. 68 minutes into the match, Mike Kustermans notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide. Noel Seide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Waterhoek booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernso Constant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Wollans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Dylan Van den Broeck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Waterhoek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Sven Wollans received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Noel Seide came out and tried to block the shot, but Sven Wollans slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 96th minute. Waterhoek's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
