Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gottfrid Brenner started the match with the kick off. When Gottfrid Brenner came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the LA VIOLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gottfrid Brenner couldn't finish the play. The supporters of LA VIOLA booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute. Felix Montes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Martinsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Jerry Stabbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 24 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th match minute, LA VIOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvald Uter to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by LA VIOLA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Overdal in the 31st minute of play. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when LA VIOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ove Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Gottfrid Brenner took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. When Gottfrid Brenner came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the LA VIOLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gottfrid Brenner couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Gottfrid Brenner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Martinsson having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Felix Martinsson made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gottfrid Brenner in the 57th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 64 played minutes LA VIOLA got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ove Abrahamsson. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, LA VIOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ove Abrahamsson to maneuver through the defense. Felix Martinsson made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 75th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after LA VIOLA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Jens-Ove Abrahamsson got a free kick in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in LA VIOLA's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Martinsson came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Felix Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gottfrid Brenner in the 95th minute of play. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Felix Martinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because LA VIOLA had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
