Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Jan Dixon scored 3-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lu Zhen Sheng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Canada fully deserved thier win.
