In the 8th match minute, FC KAKAROTTO DYNÓW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keith Lambourne to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when 齐旭竞 got free with Julio Vera in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, FC KAKAROTTO DYNÓW's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Sven Günther reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven Günther made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Mancebo in the 21st minute of play. Sven Günther took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven Günther. Sven Günther dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 齐旭竞 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Diego Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when 齐旭竞 got free with Julio Vera in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven Günther. Sven Günther dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 47th minute, Iain Clarkson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 齐旭竞 to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, FC KAKAROTTO DYNÓW's 齐旭竞 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC KAKAROTTO DYNÓW's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Günther came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agustín Saelices in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sven Günther, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, FC KAKAROTTO DYNÓW's Sven Günther got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Sven Günther when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Daniel Zorita sped through FC KAKAROTTO DYNÓW's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sven Günther. The FC KAKAROTTO DYNÓW fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
