With an all-out effort, El retorno del Pincha's Thiago Pliego threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximino Lope, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 34 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Lope came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of André Zonta. El retorno del Pincha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 94th minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The El retorno del Pincha supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chile's performance. The match ended with a win for Chile.
