Porcinos Jr's Ulises Franco got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Porcinos Jr getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ulises Franco hit a great ball. Porcinos Jr's Monte Lombana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 6th minute of play. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Millrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 12 minutes into the game, when Luis Urtungo put in a rough tackle. In the 11th minute, one of Porcinos Jr:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Porcinos Jr. Monte Lombana had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Mateo Leguizamo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Abram Luque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porcinos Jr the free kick. 22 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Wydrych came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenzo Yepes charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorenzo Yepes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lorenzo Yepes hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Monte Lombana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moises Fernandino in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Luque got free with Monte Lombana in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, Porcinos Jr's Ulises Franco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Zorita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Monte Lombana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Luque in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Jonas Millrick helped the player get up and apologised. Monte Lombana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 85th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Abram Luque left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Salvador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Luis Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Millrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
