Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Ado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Mexico booed when Algarrobo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Tomás Talamilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Everardo Ado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Algarrobo's Everardo Ado managed to reach the ball for a save. Algarrobo's Everardo Ado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 11th minute of play. Everardo Ado came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The Algarrobo fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Algarrobo's Diego Armando Lamb looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 21 minutes into the match, Algarrobo's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Everardo Ado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Cañas took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 31 played minutes Algarrobo got a freekick which was hit by Diego Armando Lamb. Algarrobo's Everardo Ado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 34th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Everardo Ado. Algarrobo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Nadal, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Ado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everardo Ado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 41st minute of play. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Cañas in the 51st minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Edmundo Cañas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Cañas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Everardo Ado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everardo Ado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 62nd minute of the match. Joel Gaona scored 3-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Everardo Ado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Everardo Ado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 68th minute. Wilfredo Marchetti took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. In the 82nd minute, Dani Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd match minute, Algarrobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Tomás Talamilla to maneuver through the defense. Joel Gaona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Everardo Ado. Algarrobo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niguel Pasten hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Ado having to interfere. Mexico's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Algarrobo had won, even though Mexico had held more of the ball.
