Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Lopez in the 3rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Pardo got free with Celsinho Bueno in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celsinho Bueno made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Jaime Pardo sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Samagara Real - DMZ getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Lino Mineiro hit a great ball. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Lopez in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Samagara Real - DMZ's goalkeeper Celsinho Bueno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Pardo. Lino Mineiro hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilmar Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. With a little luck, Samagara Real - DMZ's Celsinho Bueno got control of the ball when Jaime Pardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Sanduru in the 42nd minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celsinho Bueno made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Hector Covarrubias sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Covarrubias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celsinho Bueno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilmar Lopez to make the kick off. Celsinho Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Hector Covarrubias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celsinho Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 55th minute of the match. Celsinho Bueno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Pardo's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The supporters of Samagara Real - DMZ booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Pardo struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Celsinho Bueno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Hector Covarrubias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Gilmar Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samagara Real - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilmar Lopez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 86 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Iker Tafalla. 88 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zhou Chen Yan. Samagara Real - DMZ's Gilmar Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chants of Samagara Real - DMZ echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Paraguay had held the ball for most of the match.
