Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gwidon Patora started the match with the kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwidon Patora in the 5th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Patora in the 5th minute of play. Marcos Lama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 16th minute of the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcos Lama in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gwidon Patora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carlos-Armando Valderrama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th match minute, Veth Crystals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Persson to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Lama stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Patora, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Veth Crystals's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Song Xing in the 31st minute. Song Xing made a great header on Veth Crystals's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 38th minute of play forced Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Marcos Lama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos-Armando Valderrama kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 2-0 in the 47 minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Patora came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Marcos Lama had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. In the 58th minute Gwidon Patora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Józef Kalafus kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcos Lama was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Teofil Walczyk charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teofil Walczyk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, Veth Crystals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofil Walczyk to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes Veth Crystals got a freekick which was hit by Teofil Walczyk. Marcos Lama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Cristian Sancho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos-Armando Valderrama in the 78th minute of play. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Marcos Lama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Lama made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Marcos Lama made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos-Armando Valderrama in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The Veth Crystals players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
