When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Aybek Satıkbuğra sped through Bolivia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aybek Satıkbuğra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Aybek Satıkbuğra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso de la Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso de la Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfonso de la Cruz hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Fernandino was the one to do the kick off.
