Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcelinho Motta started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelinho Motta came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 6th minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ove Fredriksson made in the 11th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Simon Martinsson. 15 minutes into the game, Camilo Gaos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stoke FF the free kick. The supporters of Stoke FF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th match minute, Stoke FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Mikaelsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute Battal Seyyit Şehzade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Hultstrand in the 34th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Mikaelsson in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39thth minute of the game Marcelinho Motta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaf Mikaelsson in the 42nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Ralf Hultstrand came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Stoke FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralf Hultstrand couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the match, Stoke FF's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Niclas Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Stoke FF's Ove Fredriksson got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 63 played minutes Stoke FF got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Motta. After 66 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. After a defensive mix-up in Stoke FF's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niclas Andersson came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes Stoke FF got a freekick which was hit by Gustaf Mikaelsson. Niclas Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Battal Seyyit Şehzade took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ove Fredriksson made in the 82nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Simon Martinsson immediately put the ball in play. After 83 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. The Venezuela supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Stoke FF's performance. The match ended with a win for Stoke FF.
