Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio Gallegos Unidos. 27 minutes in the game Alex Chicote did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Patricio Costa. Jonathan Balendin hit a great ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Roman Iza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 58th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rio Gallegos Unidos's Roman Iza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rio Gallegos Unidos.
