Rozarius Sanjurjo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 7th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Sanchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Joaquin Sanchez scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 2-0. After having played for 19 minutes, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Tasis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Anier Guifre tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Anier Guifre reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 4-0. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Corneliu Cămărășan scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 5-0. After 39 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rozarius Sanjurjo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute, Real Escualido FC's Joaquin Sanchez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-1. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Anier Guifre tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Rozarius Sanjurjo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Eliseo Noboa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Rozarius Sanjurjo was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Sanchez in the 70th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Charlie Monk made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. A collision led to Real Escualido FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Rosario Polledo hit a great ball. Axel Tasis might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rozarius Sanjurjo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Tasis ran back to his position shaking his head. When Aaron Alcocer fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Aaron Alcocer a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Real Escualido FC's Rosario Polledo got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Rosario Polledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Rubio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rozarius Sanjurjo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Sanchez came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Sanchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
