The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mito Momin. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play forced Lauta Army's goalkeeper Mito Momin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mito Momin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Mito Momin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mito Momin. That made the score 6-0 in the 42 minute of play. Mito Momin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Lauta Army's Mito Momin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute of play. Mito Momin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mito Momin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 94 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mito Momin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho scored 14-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mito Momin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
