Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Fresnos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play forced FLAMENGO San Sebastian's goalkeeper Angelo Fresnos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, FLAMENGO San Sebastian's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Angelo Fresnos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. FLAMENGO San Sebastian's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Angelo Fresnos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Angelo Fresnos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play. Angelo Fresnos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Fresnos. Angelo Fresnos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. FLAMENGO San Sebastian made a substitution. Caitano Galego replaced Per Åström. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after FLAMENGO San Sebastian's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Emiliano Pancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-1. With an all-out effort, FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emiliano Pancho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Emiliano Pancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Emiliano Pancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, FLAMENGO San Sebastian's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Angelo Fresnos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Felix Montenegro played forward. In the 44th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. FLAMENGO San Sebastian's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Montes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Thomas Vermaelen kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Pedro Dios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 52 minutes into the match, FLAMENGO San Sebastian's goalkeeper Angelo Fresnos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. The throw-in from Primitivo Andino in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Pedro Dios. After a defensive mix-up in FLAMENGO San Sebastian's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Fresnos came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador were furious when Juan Sebastián Puig was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FLAMENGO San Sebastian:s goal. Caitano Galego walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Angelo Fresnos however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Pancho in the 71st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FLAMENGO San Sebastian's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Caitano Galego in the 72nd minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Louis Japón who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Agustín Saelices's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Angelo Fresnos firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Primitivo Andino in the 96th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Pedro Dios. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
