Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off. ATLETAS FC's Toni Azofra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 12th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Toni Azofra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Azofra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind ATLETAS FC's goalkeeper Toni Azofra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Toni Azofra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Toni Azofra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 46th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 47th minute of play forced ATLETAS FC's goalkeeper Toni Azofra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ATLETAS FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chile were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tipi Losantos was the one to do the kick off. ATLETAS FC's Toni Azofra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save ATLETAS FC from getting a goal against them. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tipi Losantos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toni Azofra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. 68 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toni Azofra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Mariano Lacasa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Toni Azofra. The goal made the score 0-6. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toni Azofra having to make a save. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind ATLETAS FC's goalkeeper Toni Azofra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 78 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toni Azofra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Mariano Lacasa took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Toni Azofra to make any attempt to save it. Felix Garrido made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Guillermo Fontirroig. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Toni Azofra made a huge save. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by ATLETAS FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Chile booed when ATLETAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tipi Losantos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chile played a much better game than ATLETAS FC and deserved their victory. The ATLETAS FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
