Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Jamaica's Finlay Stair started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Romon Oliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karlus Waugh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jarell Hill hit a great ball. Karlus Waugh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdo Guimarães. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Javan Develder got a free kick in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Guimarães came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Finlay Stair in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perivaldo Moreira saved MARINUS MZC from getting behind. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdo Guimarães in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Daniel Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Moreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Délio Souza made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Munhoz during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Karlus Waugh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MARINUS MZC's Délio Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thiago Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thiago Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thiago Ortiz hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute Kordal Duff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perivaldo Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Perivaldo Moreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Finlay Stair's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Valdo Guimarães scored 1-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demonde Jacobson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jamaica's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because MARINUS MZC had won, even though Jamaica had held more of the ball.
