An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 12th minute of play forced C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goalkeeper Benedicto Ireno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Benedicto Ireno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 16th minute. In the 21st match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Prats to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Mendonça. Benedicto Ireno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Benedicto Ireno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodosio Montes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. In the 31st minute of the match, Teodosio Montes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Noboa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 32nd minute C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ were awarded a corner. Colas Valdueza went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 34th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Ireno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedicto Ireno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luz Tejedor went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luz Tejedor hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Peru's Eliseo Mina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedicto Ireno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Colas Valdueza to make the kick off. If Teodosio Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ made a substitution. Márk Stephen replaced Colas Valdueza. 61 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno. Benedicto Ireno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute Márk Stephen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Benedicto Ireno made a huge save. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 83rd minute of play. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Eliézer Mendonça made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game.
