Albano Hever showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albano Hever narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matias Natal hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 31st play minute Ruben Seinstra came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rolando Noboa. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 36th minute of play forced ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s goalkeeper Albano Hever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Julian Murillo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 42 played minutes ⛥Milrayitas⛤ got a freekick which was hit by Matias Mugica. In the 45th minute of the game Emmanuel Reyes made a throw-in which Milagros Fraga played forward. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruben Seinstra to make the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Peru's Luz Tejedor made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albano Hever was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 55th minute Ruben Seinstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58thth minute of the game Ruben Seinstra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Anthony Alvarado hit a great ball. When Matias Mugica came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the ⛥Milrayitas⛤ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Mugica couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albano Hever, 1-3. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albano Hever read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Eliseo Mina was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 79th minute of the match ⛥Milrayitas⛤ got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Matias Mugica ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to ⛥Milrayitas⛤ getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Efrain Sarracino hit a great ball. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 86th match minute, ⛥Milrayitas⛤ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Sarracino to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Tenorio got free with Albano Hever in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
