Fathoni Birowo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fathoni Birowo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fathoni Birowo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Greencard's Fathoni Birowo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Greencard's Noah-Leon Hutagalung got a free kick in the 40th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Fathoni Birowo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Fathoni Birowo made a huge save. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Luis Andino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fathoni Birowo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Ilham Mahuse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Ilham Mahuse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Fathoni Birowo however easily saved by the left post. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fathoni Birowo firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 70th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Greencard's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Felix Montes made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Greencard's Fathoni Birowo managed to reach the ball for a save. 72 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Felix Montenegros short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Fathoni Birowo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Greencard's goalkeeper Fathoni Birowo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fathoni Birowo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fathoni Birowo could save by the left post. The Greencard fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
