Paul Miclescu came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Haiti's Ernso Constant. But to his dismay, Ernso Constant quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Gloria Bistrita's zone, Philippe Ambroise stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Miclescu came out of the goal and Philippe Ambroise tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, Jonathan Alphonse sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gloria Bistrita's Paul Miclescu didn't even have to move. Philippe Ambroise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Miclescu having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Ferman came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Mihail Botgros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Noel Seide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Philippe Ambroise struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Paul Miclescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haiti. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Philippe Ambroise during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gloria Bistrita booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philippe Ambroise didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jonathan Alphonse came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Haiti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Alphonse couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Botgros in the 44th minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihail Botgros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Noel Seide made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Alphonse to make the kick off. Haiti's Noel Seide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Tudose in the 52nd minute of play. Paul Miclescu made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Jonathan Alphonse sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Şchiopu came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Bogdan Tudose notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide. Noel Seide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st minute, Horaţiu Şchiopu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Marcos Ferman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Ferman scored 6-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noel Seide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Haiti defense, Mihail Botgros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Seide. The Haiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Seide should have stopped the shot.
