Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ladislao Corpeño took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Newton on Ouse FC's William Navas got control of the ball when Armando Najarro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Ladislao Corpeño had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abraham Messias. Cressage's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ladislao Corpeño was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. William Navas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Ulloa, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 13thth minute of the game Rene Padilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cressage's Abraham Messias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Humberto Ulloa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cressage getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mario Alfaro hit a great ball. Abraham Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Corpeño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Cressage's Humberto Ulloa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of William Navas. That made the score 1-1 after 29 minutes of play. Edwin Pineda's late challenge caught a Cressage's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edwin Pineda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Newton on Ouse FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwin Pineda to maneuver through the defense. When Humberto Ulloa came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Cressage fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Ulloa couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Richard Gallegos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Ulloa in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Navas saved Newton on Ouse FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Newton on Ouse FC's William Navas got control of the ball when Armando Najarro tried to sneak it across the goal line. William Navas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Najarro in the 47th minute.
Mario Alfaro hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Ladislao Corpeño kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Abraham Messias came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Newton on Ouse FC's Rene Padilla. But to his dismay, Rene Padilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When Christian Menjivar fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cressage's protests and gave Christian Menjivar a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes Cressage got a freekick which was hit by Christian Menjivar. Abraham Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Corpeño in the 79th minute of play. Oswaldo Leguizamon hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Christian Menjivar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. William Navas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Ulloa went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Humberto Ulloa might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over William Navas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Humberto Ulloa ran back to his position shaking his head. The Newton on Ouse FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
